Short Bio

Silvia Battistoni obtained her MD in Material Science and Technology from University of Rome “Tor Vergata” in 2013 and the P.h.D. degree (CUM LAUDE) in Material Science and Technology from University of Parma in 2017. After 3 year of Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at CNR-IMEM, she is now serving as Researcher at CNR-IMEM where her research activity is placed in the framework of Organic Electronics & Bioelectronics especially in the design, assembly and characterization of polymer-based electronic devices for sensing and neuromorphic applications. She joined the CarbonSite group by means of a Unità di Ricerca presso Terzi (URT) established between CNR and Tor Vergata. She is the principal investigator of the research line on Organic Neuromorphic Devices and she is actively involved in the realization, characterization and optimization of Organic Electronics Devices (among which Transistors, Supercapacitors and Sensors).
